This level is internationally accepted as the highest level of sterility for medical and diagnostic devices. While other sterilization methods can compromise products (causing embrittlement, warping, and color changes), e-beam sterilization is gentle on plastic and ensures that Labcon%u2019s sterile products maintain their overall integrity and outstanding performance. WHY THE STERILITY ASSURANCE LEVEL (SAL) OF YOUR PRODUCT MATTERS10-6 SAL offers the highest level of sterility assurance with a one in a million probability of a viable microorganism surviving sterilization.* A sterility assurance level of 10-5, 10-4, 10-3, 10-2, or 10-1, increases the probability of a viable microorganism surviving sterilization and may limit product applications. %u2022 10-3 SAL products can only be used in research applications due to high contamination levels %u2022 10-6 SAL products can be used in all research, clinical, and diagnostic applications %u2022 Labcon products are sterilized within a dose range (15.2 - 35 kGy) necessary to guarantee a 10-6 sterility assurance level (SAL) %u2022 Our sterilization process is continuously audited to the ANSI/AAMI/ISO 11137 standard by an independent labPRE-STERILE VS. STERILE, KNOW THE DIFFERENCEA sterile product is one that is free from viable microorganisms. Many other manufacturers offer irradiated or %u201cpresterile%u201d products without any sterilization validation, or otherwise label their product for research only. These products are not qualified as truly sterile and may cause costly delays, sample loss, and erroneous results. Labcon's sterile products are validated as sterile with all bioburden studies on file. Labcon maintains responsibility from our facility to yours. Pre-sterile products are unvalidated and the manufacturer has zero responsibility after their product leaves their facility. How much contamination are you paying for?The e-beam sterilization process is less stressful on sensitive materials such as plastics and produces zero dangerous radioactive wasteQuarterly Audits (ANSI/AAMI/ISO 11137)Confirmed eradication of contaminantsFDA-approved sterilization processUse in diagnostics applicationsUse in medical applicationsUse in research applicationsx %uf0fcPRE-STERILE STERILEx %uf0fcx %uf0fcx %uf0fcx %uf0fc%uf0fc %uf0fcDon't RISKyour results!*Equivalent to likelihood of finding 1 contaminant in 10 CS of 96-rack tips. 1 in 100000. 96 tips in 1 rack. 960 tips per pack. 9600 tips per case. 96,000 tips in 10 cases.
