PurePlus® PCR Plates with Solid Walls
Our disposables for polymerase chain reaction amplification can consistently be relied upon to perform. Our Solid Wall PCR plates are made with a hard polycarbonate frame that does not bend and wells made of ultra thin polypropylene for fast thermal transfer. They work with all major brands of thermocyclers that accept 96 or 384 well plates. Labcon PurePlus® PCR plates are developed using our own in-house laboratory and tested on real thermocyclers.
PurePlus® PCR plates are available for standard and qPCR. Our plates for qPCR fit major thermocyclers that require an optically opaque well for proper functioning.

Ultra Clear & Clean
Our disposables for PCR are not only tested to preclude the presence of RNase and DNase. Every lot is lab tested to ensure there is no ATP, Endotoxin, or DNA on any of the thermocycling supplies we offer you. And since we operate our own micro-biology lab we use our plates, strips, and tubes to test and validate all of our products. So consistency is not only important to you, it is important to us.
PurePlus® plates are available for standard and qPCR that fit most standard thermocylers. These plates can be sealed with our strip caps or film.
Labcon PurePlus® Solid Wall PCR plates are designed to fit many popular thermocyclers including brands like Applied Biosystems®, Eppendorf®, Thermo Scientific®, and Bio Rad®. All our PCR disposables are made from 100% virgin resins to preclude contamination and are lot tested and certified to be free of RNase, DNase, Endotoxin, ATP and DNA.
Our 96 well, 200µL and 100µL and 384 well Solid Wall PCR plates are available in clear natural and opaque white. Our 384 well plates hold 25µL per well and work in all popular 384 well thermocyclers.
PurePlus® PCR plates are autoclavable and can be sealed with most brands of sealing film.

Endotoxin Free (Non pyrogenic) Product samples are exposed to endotoxin-free water and the resulting extraction fluid is tested for contamination using the kinetic turbidimetric Limulus Amoebocyte Lysate (LAL) assay protocol and USP guidelines. All products tested must display less than 0.05 EU/ml to be certified free of endotoxin. |

Nuclease Free (RNase/DNase) Product samples are exposed to nuclease-free water and the resulting extraction fluid is tested for nuclease activity on commercially available 7.5 kb Poly(A) tailed RNA (1µg) and HindIII-digested DNA (1µg) with a one hour 37°C incubation in appropriate buffers. Results are visualized on an agarose gel with appropriate positive and negative controls. Extraction fluid samples must show no degradation of the nucleic acids by the extraction fluid has occurred for the product to be certified as RNase-free and DNase-free |

DNA Free (Human) To confirm the freedom from DNA amplification products are examined by Agarose gel electrophoresis with appropriate positive and negative controls. PCR reactions using extraction fluid must show no PCR- amplified product compared to a positive control containing one picogram of human genomic DNA for the product to be certified as DNA-free. |

Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) Product sample surfaces are tested for the presence of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) using a controlled bioluminescence reaction to detect contamination. Luminescence data is compared to results generated by ATP-free surfaces and surfaces with known amounts of ATP as a positive control. The relative light units result must indicate less than 2 X 10-12 mg/µl of ATP for the product to be certified as ATP free. |
